CREDIT EVENT UPDATE ON INTEREST PAYMENT

Further to the SENS announcement made on 13th July 2016
pertaining to the Credit Event relating to Portugal Telecom
International Finance B.V, which is the affected reference
entity of the above instrument, In accordance with the Terms
and Conditions of the notes, noteholders are herewith advised
that the aforementioned credit event has led to the reduction
of the interest payment falling on 20 December 2016 to zero,
as such, there is no interest payable to noteholders on 20
December 2016.
