CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Workforce (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Ms Shelley Thomas (“Shelley”) has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director, member of the Audit and Risk Committee as well as
Chairman of the Social and Ethics Committee with immediate effect.

Shelley is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Accounting.

Shelley has sat on numerous boards and audit committees of both private, public and listed companies.
Shelley currently chairs the board of Industrial Timber Supplies Proprietary Limited and is a member of the
audit and risk committee of EWSETA, as well as the Road Traffic Infringement Agency.

Her previous experience includes being the Account Lead, representing SekelaXabiso, Nkonki and KPMG,
at Transnet Internal Audit and serving on the audit committees of, inter alia, The Department of
Environmental Affairs, The Department of Water Affairs, The National Lotteries Board and the Road
Accident Fund. Shelley also worked at Transnet for a period of 4 years, gaining experience at Transnet,
Spoornet and Portnet at the time.

The Board welcomes Shelley, and looks forward to her contributions to the Group.
