CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SYGNIA
LIMITED

In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the board of
directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Buckham as the Financial Director of Sygnia Limited
(‘Sygnia’) with effect from 1 February 2017.

Michael joins Sygnia from Prescient Limited where he served as both the Chief Executive Officer of Prescient Financial
Services, as well as the Financial Director of Prescient Limited. Michael is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA®
charterholder.

Michael brings with him a wealth of experience in both asset management and administration and will be a very
valuable addition to the team at a time when Sygnia is expanding rapidly.

Niki Giles will step down as Financial Director with effect from 1 February 2017 to concentrate on fulfilling the growing
requirements of her role as Sygnia’s Chief Operating Officer. The board of directors would like to thank her for her
services as a Financial Director.
