DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON STEINHOFF INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS N.V HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES – (“SNHIHA”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Steinhoff International Holdings NV have declared
a dividend of 180.18 cents per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 6 December 2016 to ordinary shareholders,
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 2 December 2016.


In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 15%,
2)   net local dividend amount is 153.153 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay new Dividends Tax and
     180.18 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax; and;
3)   the issued share capital of Steinhoff International Holdings NV is 4 253 551 251 ordinary shares;
4)   Steinhoff international Holdings NV tax reference number 9088/208/229; and
5)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.


Accordingly, the holders of SNHIHA will receive a dividend of 180.18 cents on Tuesday, 6 December 2016 in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The
last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend is Tuesday, 29 November 2016.

SNHIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Wednesday, 30 November 2016, and the record date will be Friday, 2 December 2016.
