AMENDMENT TO SALIENT DATES AND TIMES RELATING TO THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT AND LISTING


Investors are referred to Transcend’s prospectus issued on Wednesday, 16 November 2016 and the abridged
prospectus released on SENS on the same date detailing the offer by way of a private placement of Transcend ordinary
shares to invited investors (“the private placement”) and the subsequent listing of the company’s shares on the
Alternative Exchange of the JSE (“the listing”).

Investors are advised that the board of directors of Transcend have decided to extend the offer period of the private
placement by an additional 48 hours. The salient dates and times relating to the private placement and listing will be as
follows:
