TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2016

In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a
trading statement as soon as they become aware that the financial results for the period to be
reported upon next may differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous
corresponding period.

Primeserv accordingly advises that management’s review of the financial results expected for
the 6 months ended 30 September 2016 has indicated that Primeserv will reflect earnings per
share and headline earnings per share of between 7.73 cents per share and 7.92 cents per
share, in comparison to earnings per share and headline earnings per share of 6.44 cents for
the 6 months ended 30 September 2015, representing an increase of between 20% and 23%.

The financial results on which this trading statement has been based have not been reviewed or
reported on by the company’s auditors. The financial results of the company will be published
on or before Monday, 21 November 2016.
