UPDATE

Shareholders are referred to:
-      the SENS announcement, dated 29 July 2016, relating to the voluntary suspension of the
       Company’s shares on the JSE Limited;
-      the previous cautionary announcements released by the Company, the last of which was
       dated 20 October 2016; and
-      the SENS announcement, dated 28 October 2016, which provided an update of the
       Company’s current state of affairs (“the Update”).

In the Update, shareholders were advised that a potential investor had signed agreements
(“Agreements”) with Stellar Capital Partners Limited (“Stellar Capital”), a major shareholder and
creditor of the Company, to acquire the outstanding loan and shares held by Steller Capital in the
Company and that settlement thereof was anticipated by the end of October 2016. Shareholders are
advised that several suspensive conditions remain unfulfilled in respect of the Agreements and that a
further announcement will be made once the Agreements become unconditional.
