Tawana Resources NL – Request for Trading Halt

In accordance with listing rule 17.1, Tawana Resources NL (ASX:TAW) requests a trading halt to be
placed on the Company’s securities pending an announcement relating to an acquisition.

The Company requests the securities remain in pre-open until the earlier of the announcement to the
market or the commencement of trade on Monday 24 October 2016.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
