David Atkins, an Executive Director of the Company, has been appointed as a non-executive
director to the board of Whitbread PLC with effect from 1 January 2017.

Whitbread PLC is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100
and the FTSE4Good indices.

This announcement is made in accordance with UK Listing Rule 9.6.14.


Hammerson has its primary listing on the London Stock Exchange and a secondary inward listing
on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
