Mr. Dominic Sewela, appointed as deputy Chief Executive of Barloworld
Limited on 1 March 2016 as part of a structured succession plan, has
been appointed as CEO-designate of the Company effective 1 October 2016.


Mr. Clive Thomson, who has successfully led the Barloworld group for the
past 10 years, will be succeeded as Chief Executive of Barloworld
Limited by Mr. Sewela at the next annual general meeting of the Company
planned for 8 February 2017.    Mr. Thomson will remain employed by the
Company in an advisory capacity for a short period thereafter to ensure
an effective handover process and seamless leadership transition.
