TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the of the JSE Limited’s Listings Requirements, a company is
required to publish a trading statement when it is reasonably certain that its results will differ by
more than 20% over the corresponding reporting period.

Accordingly a review by management indicates as per the table below the ranges anticipated
against the comparative period:
