Trading statement Hulamin Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1940/013924/06) Share code: HLM ISIN: ZAE000096210 ("Hulamin" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT Despite a tough trading environment, particularly in the local market which has been impacted by depressed economic conditions and competition from imports, and a slow first quarter in both domestic and export markets, sales volumes for the six-month period ended 30 June 2016 have improved considerably on growing production volumes. Consequently, shareholders are advised that Hulamin expects earnings per share (“EPS”), headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) and normalised EPS for the six months ended 30 June 2016 to be within the ranges shown below: 30 June 2016 30 June 2015 Expectation (cents) and Reported (cents) percentage increase EPS 46(92%) – 50(108%) 24 HEPS 46(84%) - 50(100%) 25 Normalised EPS 46(77%) – 50(92%) 26 The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and reported on by the Company's external auditors.
