African Bank Limited on 4 April 2016) for the six months ended 31 March 2016

African Bank is pleased to announce the release of the unaudited interim financial statements for the six
months ended 31 March 2016.

These results can be accessed under the following website

and following the link under “Financial reporting and operational updates”.

The financial statements reflect the injection of R10 billion of share capital into the Bank prior to the
reporting date, and associated interest earned on that cash until the reporting date, but do not reflect
any business transferred to the Bank after the reporting date, on 4 April 2016.
