("MNK" or "the company")

TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of section 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting
period will be more than 20% different than that of the previous
corresponding period.

Shareholders are hereby advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that for the year ended 31 March 2016, the Company will report basic profit
per share of between 2.48 and 0.97 US cents, being an improvement of between
116,4% and 106,4% as compared to the prior year basic loss per share of 15.11
US cents, and headline loss per share of between 3.96 and 3.32 US cents,
being a decrease in losses of between 38,6% and 48,5%, as compared to the
restated prior year headline loss per share of 6.45 US cents.

Basic profit per share includes a profit of $9.6 million in respect of the
disposal of retired emission reduction credits (“ERCs”) during the year.

The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s
auditors. The Company`s results are expected to be published on 28 June 2016.
