UPDATE REGARDING LEGAL ACTION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Services
on 28 April 2016 wherein the Company indicated that, subsequent to an urgent application
by the Company in the Eastern Cape Division, Grahamstown, of the High Court of South
Africa (the “Court”) against, amongst others, certain previous directors of and
consultants to the Company, and trusts and companies controlled by or associated with
them (collectively hereinafter the “Respondents”) that an interim order had been granted
ex parte (that is, without notice to the Respondents) by the Court (the “Interim Order”)
on the same day in favour of the Company, with a return day on 9 June 2016 (the “Return
Day”).
Shareholders are hereby advised that the Interim Order was lifted by the Court on the
Return Day. Consequently, the Respondents are no longer indicted and restrained from
selling or otherwise disposing or encumbering certain properties held by the Respondents.
