Voluntary Update on Suspension BONATLA PROPERTY HOLDINGS LIMITED (Registration number 1996/014533/06) Share code: BNT ISIN: ZAE000013694 (”Bonatla” or “the Company”) VOLUNTARY UPDATE ON SUSPENSION In accordance with paragraph 1.6 of the JSE Listings Requirements which deals with the suspension of a company’s securities by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”), shareholders are referred to the previous announcements published on SENS, the last of which was released on 1 March 2016. Shareholders are advised that the Company is finalising certain acquisition negotiations as mentioned in its recent renewal of cautionary announcement in order to ensure compliance with section 4.28 of the JSE Listings Requirements. In the interim, the Company has commenced with the drafting of the Circular to shareholders regarding, inter alia, the acquisition of the Bluezone portfolio and other previously announced transactions. The Company is also in the process of finalising its results for the periods ended 31 March 2015, 31 August 2015 and 31 March 2016, for publication as soon as possible. As previously advised, the circular to shareholders will require substantial redrafting due to the effluxion of time and the number of additional transactions entered into over the past five years. It will seek shareholder approval or ratification, where applicable. The Company has, in the past, secured the required irrevocable undertakings to support these transactions.
