Further Cautionary Announcement Re Withdrawal of Virtus’ Authorisation

STRATCORP LIMITED
(Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa)
(Registration number: 2000/031842/06)
JSE code: STA
ISIN: ZAE 000034294
("StratCorp" or “the Company”)

Further Cautionary Announcement Re Withdrawal of Virtus’ Authorisation

Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released on 29 April 2016 regarding the
withdrawal by the Registrar of Financial Services Providers (“”Registrar”) of the authorisation by
Virtus Financial Services (Proprietary) Limited (”Virtus”) to act as Financial Services Provider
(‘’FSP”).

Shareholders are advised that the Company has subsequently met with the Registrar on this matter.
The Registrar confirmed to the Company that a period of two months would be sufficient and
reasonable for Virtus to inform its clients and product suppliers of the withdrawal of Virtus’
authorisation to act as an FSP, and to transfer the outstanding clients and FAIS related business to
an authorised FSP. The company therefore has until 26 June 2016 to meet this requirement.
The Board of Directors is in the process of implementing the instructions and further announcements
will be made in due course regarding the remedial action taken by the Company to protect
shareholders’ interests.

Under the circumstances shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in
the company’s securities until a further announcement is made.
