A portfolio in the NewFunds Collective Investment Scheme, the GOVI Exchange Traded Fund
was established on 26 January 2012 in the Republic of South Africa in terms of the Collective
Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002, managed by NewFunds (Proprietary) Limited
(“NewFunds”)’

PARTIAL DE-LISTING OF NEWFUNDS GOVI EXCHANGE TRADED FUND PARTICIPATORY INTERESTS

NewFunds has, from commencement of business today, de-listed 2,000,000 NewFunds
GOVI ETF participatory interests, following the redemption of such participatory interests.

After the partial de-listing of the 2,000,000 GOVI ETFs, there will be 7,350,000 participatory
interests in issue.
