FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the joint announcement released by Synergy, Vukile Property Fund Limited and Arrowhead
Properties Limited (together, “the parties”) on 10 March 2016, regarding a potential transaction between the parties.

The final terms of the potential transaction continue to be negotiated. Synergy shareholders are accordingly advised to
continue to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities until a further announcement is made.
