REVISION TO THE TIMETABLE PERTAINING TO THE PREVIOUS TRANSACTIONS AND THE
REVISED TRANSACTIONS
Unless otherwise indicated, capitalised words and terms contained in this announcement shall bear the
same meanings ascribed thereto in the circular to Sovereign shareholders dated 24 February 2016
(“Circular”) and the SENS announcement published by Sovereign on 29 March 2016
(“Announcement”).
In terms of the Announcement, Shareholders were informed of the Court Order and the adjournment of
the New General Meeting until 10:00 on 29 April 2016, to be held at the Sun International Boardwalk
Hotel, Beach Road, Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth (“Adjourned Meeting”), so as to cater for the
pending judgment from the High Court on the Disputed Matters.
In light of the pending judgment on the Disputed Matters and the Adjourned Meeting, Shareholders are
hereby advised of:
- a further revision to the Previous Transactions timetable published on SENS on 4 February 2016;
and
- a revision to the Revised Transactions timetable published on SENS on 24 February 2016,
as follows:

Notes to the above timetables:
1. All of the above dates and times are subject to change, with the approval of the JSE and the TRP,
if required. The dates have been determined based on certain assumptions regarding the date by
which certain regulatory approvals will have been obtained. Any change in the dates and times will
be released on SENS.
2. All times given in this announcement are local times in South Africa.
3. Forms of Proxy (in the form attached to the Circular) submitted for the New General Meeting
scheduled for 29 March 2016 (“Initial Forms of Proxy”) will remain valid in respect of the
Adjourned Meeting, unless you submit new Forms of Proxy. If you have traded in Shares since the
submission of the Initial Forms of Proxy, you must submit new Forms of Proxy.
Shareholders are further advised that the date for fulfilment or waiver (where possible) of the conditions
precedent to the Previous Transactions has been extended to 17:00 on 1 June 2016.
