  - RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR
  - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"),
holders of securities in NewGold are hereby advised that Mr C.J.C. Clarke (“Clinton”) has resigned as
non-executive director of NewGold, with effect from 24 March 2016.

The board of directors of NewGold wishes to thank Clinton for his valued contributions during his
tenure as a director and wish him well in his future endeavours.

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE, holders of securities in
NewGold are further advised that Mr. C.H.M. Edwards (“Chris”) replaces Clinton on the board of
NewGold and is appointed as non-executive director with effect from 24 March 2016.

The board of directors of NewGold welcomes Chris and looks forward to his contribution to its
development and growth.
