APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Board of Directors would hereby like
to advise Dawn shareholders that Mr Stephen John Connelly (64) has been appointed as independent
non-executive director with effect 1 April 2016.

Mr Connelly joined Hudaco Industries Ltd in 1992 as Chief Executive Officer and retired in 2014. The
Board is confident that, given his industry experience, he will bring significant value add and we look
forward to his input.
