1. The independent Trustee of the British American Tobacco Group Employee Trust
notified the Company on 23 March 2016 that it had on 22 March 2016 released the
following number of British American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares (the “Shares”)
granted to the following Executive Directors and persons discharging managerial
responsibility under the 2013 Deferred Share Bonus Scheme (“2013 DSBS”):
