NOTICE OF AN ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


In accordance with section 122(3) of the Companies Act (No. 71 of 2008), as amended, and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Sentula shareholders are advised
that the Company has received notification from the JB Private Equity Partnership, an en commandite
partnership between Calibre Capital Proprietary Limited, RECM and Calibre Limited, JB Capital
Proprietary Limited and JB Private Equity Investors Trust (“the Partnership”) that it has increased its
beneficial interest in Sentula to 36.37%.

Shareholders are further referred to an announcement released on the JSE Stock Exchange News
Service on Friday, 12 February 2016 where shareholders were advised that the Takeover Regulation
Panel granted a ruling to waive the requirement for a mandatory offer by the Partnership and
Regarding Capital Management, in terms of section 123 of the Companies Act.
