DEALING IN SECURITIES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 26 April 2013 wherein shareholders were advised that Berrywood Investments 10 Proprietary Limited ('Berrywood'), an associate of Elliot Salkow (by virtue of his holding 100% of Berrywood's issued share capital), a director of the company, had entered into an OTC forward sale transaction, in respect of 5 925 000 Ellies shares, in equal tranches of 592 500 Ellies shares each with, in each case, a forward price of R9.82 per share and maturity dates of 21 December 2015, 4 January 2016, 18 January 2016, 1 February 2016, 15 February 2016, 29 February 2016, 14 March 2016, 29 March 2016, 11 April 2016 and 25 April 2016, respectively. On 29 February 2016, the OTC forward sale in respect of 592 500 Ellies shares settled off-market by the retention of 595 500 Ellies shares by the relevant counterparty under the OTC forward sale (which held them pursuant to a stock lending and securities loan agreement) and payment to Berrywood in cash of the forward price, being in aggregate R5 819 801.44. 1 March 2016 Sponsor Java Capital
