APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of that Mr.
M.M. (Thys) du Preez has been appointed as a non-executive director of Accentuate Limited with
effect from 1 March 2016.

Thys is a registered chartered accountant. He graduated with a B.Com (Acc) (Hons) in 1974 and
qualified as a CA (SA) in 1975. Thys joined Van Zyl, Scott, Naude & Buys (now PwC) in 1967. In
1970, he joined Elliot Afrovan as Group Financial Manager, a position which he held until 1974. In
1974, he joined Ernst & Young and was appointed an audit partner in 1982 and consulting partner in
1993, which position he held until 1996 when he joined the Trustee Board Investments Group (“TBI”).
Thys has served on a number of boards and is currently an executive director of TBI and a non-
executive director of The Efficient Group.

The board wishes to welcome Thys as a director of Accentuate and look forward to the positive
contribution that he will make.
