SABMiller plc was notified on 23 February 2016 that Ms S. M. Clark, a PDMR, had entered into a
personal loan facility with J.P. Morgan Private Bank and has granted a pledge in favour of the Bank
over 104,739 ordinary shares in SABMiller plc as security for any amounts which may be due from
time to time under the facility. Ms Clark remains the beneficial owner of the shares subject to the
pledge, and retains full voting rights.
