MEDICLINIC PLANS CFO SUCCESSION

Mediclinic International PLC (“Mediclinic” or the “Company”), a leading international private hospital
group, announces today that Craig Tingle has informed the Board of his intention to seek early
retirement as Chief Financial Officer.

Craig will remain Chief Financial Officer at the Company until 15 June 2016 in order to oversee the
preparation and presentation of the Company's annual results to 31 March 2016, the refinancing of
the bridge financing relating to the Al Noor Hospitals Group plc transaction, and to ensure a smooth
transition to his successor. A process to identify a suitable successor is underway, led by the Chief
Executive, Danie Meintjes.

Dr. Edwin Hertzog, Chairman of Mediclinic, said:

“Craig joined Mediclinic in 1990 and has been an integral member of the team, helping to build one of
the leading international private hospital groups in the world.

Since Craig's appointment as Chief Financial Officer in September 2010, he has played a pivotal role
in the Company, including the successful establishment of Mediclinic’s operations in new
geographies, the acquisition of Al Noor and obtaining a primary listing on the London Stock
Exchange. Under his stewardship, the market capitalisation of the group has grown from GBP1.4bn to
GBP6.3bn.

He leaves Mediclinic at a high point in his career and well-positioned for the next stage of its
development. We thank him and wish him all the very best for his well-earned retirement.”
