                                     ANNOUNCEMENT
                           CLOSED PERIOD FOR TRADING IN SHARES

The Company’s interim financial results for the six months ended 31 December 2015 (“financial
results”) are in the process of being prepared and are expected to be published on or about 14
March 2016.

In compliance with the rules of the Botswana Stock Exchange the Company confirms its closed
period from the commencement of business Monday, 4 January 2016 to the date of publication
of the financial results (“closed period”).

During the closed period, members of the Company’s board, management and staff are
prohibited from dealing in Choppies shares.
