Changes to the board of directors ELLIES HOLDINGS LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 2007/007084/06) JSE share code: ELI ISIN: ZAE000103081 (“Ellies” or the “company”) CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Shareholders are advised that Ryan Otto has resigned as a director of Ellies with effect from 15 February 2016 due to his pending emigration. Ryan will however continue to be involved with the Ellies group and he will be a full time employee and director of Megatron International (Mauritius), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ellies group. With the Megatron business having closed down its South African manufacturing operations, Ryan will, in his new role, focus his attention on building and growing Megatron’s core business in Africa, with the exciting prospects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria and Ivory Coast. Russell Broadhead has been appointed to the Ellies board with effect from 15 February 2016. Russell Broadhead (53) holds a Higher National Diploma in Building Studies, has completed a Senior Management Development Programme and is a registered professional with the SACPCMP. He has over 30 years’ experience in building construction, power transmission and distribution engineering in the UK, Middle East and Africa. After several years in a project management role with Alstom France, Russell was appointed as General Manager of Alstom SA and held the position from 1999 to 2002. Since 2002 Russell has held the position of Managing Director of Grinaker-LTA Power and subsequently Edison Jehamo Power following a management buy-out. He continued in this position with Symbion-PNC following further restructuring. Russell has been employed by the Megatron infrastructure division for 11 months and has performed the executive duties alongside Ryan during this time.
