He will take over from Frank Thompson who is retiring on that date. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA, Roy brings 25 years of local and international senior management experience to the Group. Having joined ADvTECH in December 2012, he led the successful turnaround of the Group’s tertiary division and served as a member of the Exco leadership in formulating Group strategy. Prior to joining ADvTECH he held senior executive roles in various industries that have honed his skills in strategy, marketing, business development and general management. His track record includes leadership positions in Nampak Limited, Deloitte (USA, Atlanta), House of Fraser Limited (UK) and Unilever SA.
