NEW APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Texton shareholders (“Shareholders”) are advised that in accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE
Limited Listings Requirements, the board of directors of Texton (the “Board”) is pleased to
announce the appointment of Ms. Brigitte de Bruyn to the Board as Financial Director with effect
from 1 November 2015.

Brigitte (42) spent several years at Deloitte where she qualified as a chartered accountant and
subsequently performed various roles in Deloitte’s accounting and financial advisory divisions.
Brigitte also has over 10 years’ experience as a financial director in both Dipula Income Fund
Limited, a South African REIT, and Grapnel Property Group Proprietary Limited, the asset manager
for Sycom Property Fund Limited and Hospitality Property Fund Limited.

The Board is pleased to welcome Brigitte and look forward to benefitting from her contribution
to the growth of Texton.
