FURTHER TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement dated 20 October 2015 and are hereby
advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the Company now expects that the Group’s
basic earnings per share for the year ended 31 August 2015 will be between 29.15 cents and 33.10
cents per share compared to the 19.76 cents in the prior year, an increase of between 48% and 68%.
The Company further expects that the Group’s headline earnings per share for the year ended 31
August 2015 will be between 29.46 cents and 32.66 cents per share compared to the 16.03 cents in
the prior year, an increase of between 84% and 104%.
The abovementioned financial information on which this further trading statement is based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s auditors. The annual financial results of AEEI are
expected to be released on SENS on or about 4 November 2015.
