TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of section 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting
period will be more than 20% different than that of the previous
corresponding period.

Shareholders are hereby advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that for the six months ended 30 September 2015, the Company will report
basic earnings per share of between 4.13 and 3.89 US cents, being an increase
of between 65% and 56% as compared to the prior comparative period basic
earnings per share of 2.50 US cents, and headline earnings per share of
between (3.21) and (2.92) US cents, being between an increase in losses of 7%
and a decrease in losses of 3%, as compared to the prior comparative period
headline earnings per share of (3.00) US cents.

Basic earnings per share includes a profit of $9.9 million in respect of the
disposal of retired emission reduction credits (“ERCs”) during the period.

The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s
auditors. The Company`s results are expected to be published on 3 November
2015.
