CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised that Dr Snowy Joyce Khoza has been appointed as an
independent non-executive director to the board of Ansys with effect from 21 October
2015.

Dr Khoza is a seasoned executive and acknowledged strategist with remarkable business
acumen honed from 25 years of senior management and directorship experience in the
South African public and private sectors. Her contribution in business and government was
recognised this year by CESA Young Professionals Forum as one of the ten women for
“Special achievements and sterling contributions to, as well as for uplifting the role of
women in, the construction industry and consulting engineering profession”.
In addition, she was recognized by CEO Global as one of the three women Ambassadors
for Most Influential Women in Africa. In 2014, she was recognized as one of the six South
African women who received Lifetime Achievers Awards of the Africa’s Most Influential
Women in Business and Government. She is also an influential and inspirational leader
and well-recognized and sought-after public and motivational speaker.

The board of directors welcomes her and looks forward to her contribution to the
Company.
