The residential property portfolio consists of about 1400 units located in Western Cape (21%), Mpumalanga (23%) and the remainder in Gauteng. The residential property portfolio also includes a development that will be completed early in 2016. The acquisition remains subject to conclusion and signature of formal agreements (“the formal agreements”). In this regard, shareholders are advised that the formal agreements are close to being finalised and a further announcement will be released on SENS disclosing the details of the formal agreements once they have been signed. The acquisition is in line with the company’s strategy to grow its residential portfolio aggressively through acquiring yield enhancing properties and portfolios that provide income from the first day of acquisition.
