TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of section 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied with a reasonable degree of certainty
that the financial results of the period to be reported upon will differ by 20% or more from the
financial results of the previous corresponding period.

Shareholders are advised that ZCI is currently finalizing its year end results for the year ended 31
March 2015. ZCI is expecting a loss per share of 83.60 US cents (2014: 47.08 US cents per share)
reflecting 77.57% increase on the loss per share of the previous corresponding period, and a
headline loss per share of 25.57 US cents, (2014: 8.71 US cents per share) reflecting a 193.57%
increase on the loss per share of the previous corresponding period.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by the
Company’s auditors.
