The Company was notified on 7 October 2015 of the following change in the interests in
ordinary shares of British American Tobacco p.l.c. in respect of the person discharging
managerial responsibility (the “Participant”) arising from the purchase of ordinary shares at a
price of 3,633.5075 pence per ordinary share on 1 October 2015 through the Company’s
Dividend Reinvestment Plan (the “DRIP”):
