African Bank Limited (in Curatorship) maturing bond

According to the original terms under which the bonds were issued under African Bank's Domestic
Medium Term Note programme, the following ABL bond is due to mature on 9 October 2015:

Interested parties are referred to the Stock Exchange News Service (“SENS”) announcement
released by African Bank on 14 August 2014, relating to the suspension of interest and principal
payments on African Bank senior unsecured debt, excluding retail deposits and sundry creditors,
as a result of the curatorship of the Bank. Accordingly, repayment of both interest and capital on
the above listed bonds will not take place on the relevant maturity dates

Interested parties are further referred to the SENS announcement released on 9 September 2015,
relating to the publication of the Information Memorandum for the Good Bank Restructuring
Proposal and the Information Memorandum itself, referred to the SENS, announcement, which
provides further information regarding the intended restructuring proposal of African Bank, and the
SENS announcement for the Quarterly update in terms of Section 1.10(c) of the released on 1
October 2015
