AfroCentric shareholders (“Shareholders”) are advised that Medscheme, a subsidiary of
AfroCentric Health Limited being a subsidiary of AfroCentric, was awarded the POLMED
administration and managed care contracts and the following is issued by the Company and
POLMED jointly:

“Shareholders are advised that the Trustees of the South African Police Service Medical Scheme
(POLMED) recently announced the award of both its administration and managed care contracts
to Medscheme, a subsidiary of AfroCentric Health Limited, which in turn is a subsidiary of black
owned and controlled, AfroCentric Investment Corporation Limited (AfroCentric). POLMED
provides medical benefits to employees of the South African Police Services (SAPS) and is the
fourth largest medical scheme in South Africa covering some 500,000 beneficiaries.

Mr Mbasa Mxenge, the Principal Officer of POLMED says, "South Africans are fortunate to have
several competent Medical Scheme administrators, one of which is Medscheme. However, given
the Quality Service Awards recently received by Medscheme and having been voted the
Administrator with the most satisfied Scheme members, POLMED Trustees were pleased to
confirm Medscheme's final appointment on 2 September 2015 after an inclusive due diligence
process.

Mr Mxenge confirmed that the contract comes into effect on 1 January 2016: “With their
extensive experience and sector expertise, we are confident that Medscheme will successfully
take on the project within the specified timeframe while seamlessly integrating our membership
data onto their system platform.”

Medscheme currently administers over 20 medical schemes, including Bonitas and the Fedhealth
open schemes as well as closed schemes for notable corporates which, amongst others, include
Sasolmed, SABC, and AECI.
Medscheme’s CEO, Mr Kevin Aron says: "We are delighted to have been awarded these two
strategic contracts which underscores the Trustee's confidence in Medscheme's capability.
Medscheme has a proven record of administering large schemes and we are confident that we
will provide the excellent service levels to which our existing clients are already accustomed."

Dr Anna Mokgokong, Chairperson of AfroCentric expressed her pleasure on the appointment and
shared similar sentiments: "The POLMED appointment is a significant acknowledgement of
Medscheme's vital role in administration and claims management in South Africa. From humble
beginnings and in an intensely competitive environment, AfroCentric's growth and progress is
certainly a good South African transformation story to tell. We are honoured to have been given
the opportunity to service our esteemed men and women of the South African Police Service.”
