NEW FRONTIER RAISES GBP44 MILLION IN NEW EQUITY CAPITAL


The directors of New Frontier are pleased to announce that the company has closed a private placement of New
Frontier shares to invited investors (“the private placement”). Through the private placement, the company has
placed 48 384 870 new New Frontier shares with investors as follows:

-     7 151 538 New Frontier shares at an issue price of GBP0.9113 per share, raising approximately GBP6.5
      million through the company’s Mauritian share register; and
-     41 233 332 New Frontier shares at an issue price of ZAR19.50 per share raising approximately ZAR804
      million through the company’s South African share register.

The proceeds raised from the private placement will be used to part settle the purchase consideration for the
acquisition of a retail centre situated in the UK. Further details in respect of the acquisition are expected to be
announced shortly.

The new shares will be issued and listed against payment of the subscription proceeds, on or about Thursday,
17 September 2015. The new shares will rank pari passu in all respects with existing New Frontier shares in
issue. Following the issue of the new shares, the company will have a total of 152 774 750 shares in issue.

New Frontier has its primary listing on the SEM and a secondary listing on the Alternative Exchange of the
JSE.
