       INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2015 (NO. 30)

       The Directors of Old Mutual plc (the “Company”) have declared an interim dividend for the six months
       ended 30 June 2015 of 2.65p per share, which will be paid on 30 October 2015.

       Shareholders on the South African, Zimbabwe and Malawi branch registers and the Namibian section
       of the principal register will be paid the local currency cash equivalents of the dividend (subject to
       deduction of local dividend withholding taxes, where applicable) under dividend access trust or
       dividend access company arrangements established in each country. Shareholders who hold their
       shares through Euroclear Sweden AB, the Swedish nominee, will be paid the cash equivalent of the
       dividend in Swedish Kronor. Local currency cash equivalents of the dividend for all five territories will
       be determined by the Company using exchange rates prevailing at the close of business on 10
       September 2015 and will be announced by the Company on 11 September 2015.

       Share certificates for shareholders on the South African register may not be dematerialised or
       rematerialised between 18 September 2015 and 25 September 2015, both dates inclusive. Transfers
       between the registers may not take place between 17 September 2015 and 25 September 2015, both
       dates inclusive. Trading in shares held on the Namibian section of the principal register through Old
       Mutual Namibia Nominees will not be permitted from 17 September 2015 to 23 September 2015, both
       dates inclusive.

       This dividend will be satisfied wholly in cash, the Company’s scrip dividend scheme adopted on 13
       May 2010 having expired at the conclusion of the Company’s AGM on 14 May 2015.
