Changes to Tawana’s Board of Directors
Tawana Resources NL (‘Tawana’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the appointment of
Michael Bohm to the Board of Directors (the Board) as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the
Company with effect from 1 August 2015.
Michael is an experienced mining professional with extensive corporate, project and operational
management experience in the minerals industry in Australia, South East Asia, Africa, Chile, Canada
and Europe/UK. A graduate of the WA School of Mines, Michael has worked as a mining engineer,
mine manager, study manager, project manager, project director and managing director. He has been
directly involved in a number of project developments in the resources sector both in Australia and
offshore.
His corporate experience includes previous directorships at Sally Malay Mining Limited (now
Panoramic Resources) in Australia (ASX), Ashton Mining of Canada (TSX), Herencia Resources
(AIM) and Argyle Diamond Mines Pty Ltd. Michael currently serves on the board of ASX/TSX listed
gold producer Perseus Mining Limited and ASX listed gold producer Ramelius Resources Limited.
In conjunction with the appointment of Michael, Mr Len Kolff will step down from the Board to pursue
other career opportunities effective 1 August 2015.
Tawana Executive Chairman and CEO, Mr Wayne Richards paid tribute to Len’s contributions to the
Board: “Len has made a tremendous contribution to the Board and the Company over his five-year
tenure at Tawana Resources, including his instrumental role in the discovery of the Mofe Creek iron
ore project from a greenfields prospect. We wish Len all the best in his future endeavours and thank
him for his valuable contribution to the Company. We are also delighted that Michael has joined the
Board and recognise the extensive corporate and project development skills he brings to the role, with
the particular emphasis of continuing to add value to the Mofe Creek iron ore project.”
