UPDATE ON ANNUAL REPORTING

In terms of the JSE Listing Requirements (“LR”) section 3.16, if an issuer has not distributed
annual financial statements to all shareholders within three months of its financial year-end, it
must publish and distribute to all holders of securities provisional annual financial statements
(“provisional report”) within the three months. ZCI had a financial year ending 31 March 2015
with their provisional report due to be published by no later than 30 June 2015.

Shareholders are advised that the Company will not be able to meet the above mentioned
reporting deadline imposed by the JSE Listing Requirements due to the additional time
required to review and analyse the Group’s operating and financial information. It is expected
that the revision will be completed during the months of July and August 2015 which will
enable the Company to finalise its annual financial statements by no later than 31 August
2015.

Shareholders are advised that any further developments in this regard will be announced
accordingly and once the Company has more certainty in terms of its financial results, a
trading statement will be released on SENS.
