EXTENSION OF MATURITY DATE AND STEP-UP RATE

In accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the FirstRand Bank
Limited FRS130 note, FRB wishes to advise investors of the
extension of Maturity on the FRS130 note with the following
details:

Further notification of extensions will be announced prior to the
next Maturity Date as per the Applicable Pricing Supplement, subject

settlement will take place electronically in terms of JSE Rules.
