NO CHANGE STATEMENT

Shareholders are advised that the 2015 Integrated Annual Report, which includes the audited Company
and Group financial statements for the 52 weeks ended 1 March 2015, is now available on our website,
www.picknpayinvestor.co.za. The financial statements contain no modifications to the audited
summarized financial results that were published on 21 April 2015.

KPMG Inc. completed their audit of the Company and Group financial statements of Pick n Pay Stores
Limited on 20 April 2015. Their unqualified audit report is presented in the 2015 Integrated Annual
Report and is available for inspection at the registered office of the Company.

NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The annual general meeting of Pick n Pay will be held at 08h30 on Monday, 27 July 2015 in the
conference centre of the registered office, Pick n Pay Office Park, 101 Rosmead Avenue, Kenilworth,
Cape Town, 7708, to transact business as stated in the notice of the annual general meeting.

The notice of the annual general meeting will be posted to shareholders on 26 June 2015 after
conclusion of the tender process regarding the appointment of external auditors.
