Notice of dealings in securities by Thusani Empowerment Investment
Holdings (Proprietary) Limited (“the SPV”)

The issued share capital of the SPV is 100% held by the Tiger Brands
Thusani Trust (“the Trust”). The Trust and the SPV were formed as part
of the Phase I BEE Transaction (“the Transaction”) implemented by Tiger
Brands in 2005. The SPV acquired 1 514 309 Tiger Brands shares in
terms of the Transaction. The Trust benefits the children of
qualifying black Tiger Brands employees by supplying funding (i.e.
grants) for tertiary education they might otherwise not be able to
afford. The grants made by the Trust are funded out of trickle-
dividends received from, inter alia, the SPV (i.e. 10% of any dividends
received by the SPV are on-declared to the Trust). As a consequence of
the unbundling of Adcock Ingram Holdings Limited (“Adcock”) in 2008,
the SPV also held 1 514 309 Adcock shares. The Trust sold these Adcock
shares and utilised the proceeds to purchase additional Tiger Brands
shares on the market.

Shareholders are advised of the following dealings of the SPV in Tiger
Brands shares in terms Paragraph 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Listings
