NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN A MAJOR INTEREST IN DATATEC SHARES

In accordance with Section 122(3)b of the Companies Act, No. 71 of
2008 and Section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listing Requirements,
shareholders are hereby advised that, on 25 May 2015, Datatec
received formal notification that Dimensional Fund Advisors LP
(“Dimensional Fund”) on behalf of itself, in its capacity as
investment manager and on behalf of its affiliates who are also
acting as investment managers of the accounts that hold ownership
in securities in the Company, have, in aggregate, acquired an
interest in ordinary shares of the Company such that the total
interest in the ordinary shares of the Company held by Dimensional
Fund and its affiliates now amounts to 5,007% of the total issued
ordinary shares of the Company.

Dimensional Fund and its affiliates emphasize that they do not
have any economic benefit in or to securities in the Company.
