LISTING OF ADDITIONAL NEWGOLD DEBENTURES

NewGold has, from commencement of business today, issued an additional 41 639 NewGold
debentures at an issue price of R138.23 per additional debenture, following subscriptions in
respect of approximately 399.140 fine troy ounces of gold bullion.


After the additional issue, there will be 95,177,939 NewGold debentures in issue, referencing
approximately 912,350.230 fine troy ounces of gold bullion.
