The Company was notified on 11 May 2015 of the following change in the interests in ordinary
shares of British American Tobacco p.l.c. in respect of the person discharging managerial
responsibility (the “Participant”) arising from the purchase of ordinary shares at a price of 3,587.359
pence per ordinary share on 8 May 2015 through the Company’s Dividend Reinvestment Plan (the
“DRIP”):
